Getting enough sleep is our final point in this blog series but it’s definitely not one to be overlooked. When our body is tired it shows on our skin. Dark circles, bags, puffy eyes, we’ve all been there and it’s not an attractive look. The saying ‘feel good look good’ is definitely true. Though the cosmetic industry tirelessly tries to bring out new products which combat the signs of tiredness but nothing beats a good night’s sleep. As we sleep our skin gets the chance to rest and repair, free from the suns UV rays, pollution and make up. Our skin cells rejuvenate while we sleep and repair any damage done during the day. When you’ve had a good night’s sleep it shows, you feel fresher and you look fresher. There’s no cosmetic substitute for it! So make sure you’re getting in your beauty sleep, it was given that name for a reason.
